Herco powder is a powerful pistol-toting smokeless shotshell. The heavy shotshell powder loads have been tested and proven effective since 1920 against 10, 12, 16, 20, and 28 gauge targets. A 12 gauge gun is loaded with Herco finishing powder (1 1/4 oz uplond). Excellent for both pistols and rifles of significant caliber. Changes in grain shape occur rapidly.
Alliant Herco Shotshell Powder is one of the best powders you can use to make a hunting load for a heavy shotshell. This powder is rated for use with loads of 10, 12, 16, 20, and 28, and it performs admirably with all of them. One ounce loads, 12 gauge loads, and magnum loads all use this powder.
