CCI 209 Primers
The primers from CCI Muzzleloading are designed to work with modern inline muzzleloading rifles and have undergone extensive testing and improvement to make them more sensitive, easier to seat, and more universally compatible with the inline muzzleloading rifles used by modern hunters. To ensure the cleanest burn, modern primers use a mix of non-corrosive and mercuric-free initiators. Primers made for muzzleloading rifles have several advantages over standard 209 shotshell primers, the most notable being a reduced tendency to create crud rings and a milder effect on the powder charge. Muzzleloading rifles are the only firearms for which these primers are intended.
CCI 209 primers
Orders for primers are sent out separately and may not arrive until much later. You’ll have to pay a one-time HazMat fee for each order you place. All orders of primers must be delivered within the 48 contiguous states. Each order has a maximum weight of 70 pounds. The return of primers is prohibited for reasons of both safety and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Verify that you are in compliance with any regional laws.
